School hall — surface repairs and repainting
The hall walls were suffering from damaged plaster and peeling paint. The original project notes record removal of flaking coatings, localised re-skimming and two coats of Johnstone’s Trade Acrylic Durable Matt.
In a busy school environment, durable paint and sound preparation are particularly important. Unstable coatings need to be removed and damaged areas made good before the finishing coats can achieve a consistent result.

What we did on this project
The walls of the school hall were in very bad repair, with paint flaking off and plaster blown. We prepped all the walls, removed flaky paint and re-skimmed damaged areas, then applied 2 coats of Johnstones Trade Acrylic Durable Matt.
