ABOUT RAVEN DECOR: SHEFFIELD BASED PAINTER'S AND DECORATOR'S

Raven Decor is a Painting and Decorating company run by Mark Ravenhill. He originally co-owned and ran a company for 7 years from 2002 called The Property Corporation. The company was involoved in the buying and selling of properties and renting them out to tenants. Mark was the appointed decorator for the modest collection of properties in the portfolio and gained experience mainly in painting.

Once the recession came along, the properties were sold off and the company shutdown. Mark decided to attend college and study for a Level 2 Diploma in Painting and Decorating at Sheaf Training in Sheffield.

During his time at college, Mark touched up on his painting skills and developed a whole host of new skills required of a professional painter and decorator including wall papering, preparation and treatment of surfaces, graining, marbelling and scaffolding to name but a few.

Once his qualification was complete, he decided to set up business as a Painter and Decorator, and thus Raven Decor (short for Ravenhill Decorating), was established.

The main area of the business is concentrated in the domestic market helping people from all types of properties renovate their homes to a high standard.

Mark knows a vast array of highly skilled tradesman, from joiners and sparkies, tilers and plasterers to plumbers and decorators. Whatever job is required on a property, Mark knows the people to get in touch with. Along with this list of tradespeople, Mark knows several excellent Painter and Decorators, and so from time to time, we are approached by business's who need their offices painted, schools who need their classrooms brightened up, hotels who need their rooms refurbished etc. and so Mark has a team of decorators at hand to take on the bigger projects.

Above all, Mark is a friendly, professional and trusted decorator who gives 100 percent on all jobs and ensures a high quality workmanship is maintained at all times.
